Bass Guitar Case 4 Player MAME

Post by EncinitasRoger » December 1st, 2014, 8:58 pm

Hey All,

I just wanted to share my build. I went the portable route as I just don't have the space for a full stand up cabinet. I put the controls in a Bass Guitar case and I've been pretty happy with the results. It's a nice size to take to work or a friends house. Check it out! Let me know what you think.

One modification I'm thinking about making is to add two 4-way joysticks for the older games as I quickly found out they don't do well with the 8-way joysticks.

Cheers,

Roger

Looks really cool!
It is beginning to get more common. Especially since Raspberry Pi OS "Retro Pi" came out. I have seen Lunch Boxes turned into mame arcades.

Thanks guys! It was such a fun project. I'd make another if I can find the time. A few friends would like one too!
