Rotating Monitor to swap vertical to horizontal

Post by Incito » June 15th, 2014, 10:07 pm

I have been thinking about building a way to retake a 16:9 monitor to play vertical games. Ideas I have had was using a servo. There are few out there now that doen this. One issue I found was how to set up a bezel, then I found this clever designe that uses a disk.

The monitor on my cab rotates too, but by way of a rotatable wall mount kit... No funky servo's for me, all by hand, but it works...

I have glass to deal with so I have to make it mechanical. I really like how yours is done.

If I ever get around to putting glass in, then I'll have to create a flap/door in the side for changing the orientation...
