Another MAME Cabinet custom made this time

Post by Lershy » March 17th, 2014, 6:52 pm

Okay, if some of you may remember I bought two gutted arcade cabinets a few years back at $5 a piece from a local second hand store here in Utah. One was of a 1982 Sega Star Trek cabinet which I converted into a MAME cabinet and posted the finished work here last summer. The other one appeared to be custom made and housed a game called Tri-Pool, but found the wood to be cracked underneath its side lamination and rotten at points. I retraced it and am using particleboard because I found it workable with my Star Trek cabinet, but I'd like to cut it now into a Centipede/Atari style cabinet. Any suggestions how I would make the cuts to make the roof work and should I provide pictures of the Centipede cabinet to give you guys a better idea of what I'm asking? Thank you.
