hi all time to build a cabinet i have loved mame and other emulators for many years now but always on the laptop or pc i have looked into building my own or buying a flat pack the doing custom bits too it not sure yet

i have seen this

Hi Jody, I havent used the one you're looking at, but I have got one of their other flat packs which I used for mine... I have no complaints, it is a 75kg solid piece of kit... Here is my build... My Build...

hi thanks for thev reply you build looks good im swaying towards the flatpack as i have limited time and tools i think this will be the first trial run then a bigger better street fighter 4 style cabinet in a few years

It does make things a bit easier, I was in the same boat, no tools as such, and no space at all for cutting up panels... If the quality on the one you want is anything like mine then it should be a winner... I did originally look at that one, but due to space I went for the thinner one to suit an LCD and then added to it with what I wanted...

That should do the job, it's basically an X-Arcade without the box...

i went ahead and ordered the tear drop joysticks in black and some led buttons from arcade world uk he is a really nice guy he let me upgrade the buttons at no extra cost after a quick chat on the phone

it comes with the ipac-2

i have just ordered this badboy

all in the post i cant wait now im like a kid at christmas i want to get it built

i just need to build the pc and finish downloading the 92gb hyperspin torrent :sad:

got the cab today and have it built im happy with how it looks so far still loads of work to do the control pad needs wiring up i have fitted the joysticks and buttons but no wiring as yet

also need to build a shelf and mount the screen

then find all the roms i want for the hyperspin front end i downloaded this is superb it unzips to 188gb just with the menus and wheels :wink:

will add photos tomorrow as files are to big
