Where can I download it? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm very new at this and it is very late.

Thanks.

Google it. It's on about a million different sites.

I've googled it and all I get are neo geo game roms not the b10$. Can you just give me a link?

I found it in about 5 seconds with Google.

I'll pm it to you. We're not meant to just publically post these links.

Also, all of this information and more can be found in the sticky mamefaqs thread in the help section, so you should check that out if you have any more problems.

Thank you. I guess I wasn't using the right keywords. And I did read the FAQ but it doesn't hint as to where to find it either.

There's the hint from my FAQ intro. In this case, the neogeo.zip from romnation will activate Neo Geo games in that version of MAME.

Enjoy your games.

Yeah, these terms can be confusing when your new to MAME. The neogeo.zip is the bios file for Neo Geo games, just as there are various other arcade systems that require their own bios file in order for their games to work in MAME.

A bios is a shared element between all games on the drivers of some systems that is essential for the games to be able to boot up. You only need one copy of any particular bios file in your MAME roms folder, though.
