Pretty cool hand held MAME machine

Post by Incito » April 1st, 2011, 2:46 pm

From the cool dudes at thinkgeek! Hand held game system strictly for emulation.
Processor is ARM9 533MHz Processor overclockable to 800Mhz. Pretty good since you don't have to run windows processes in the background.

A device sold strictly for emulation of MAME? Is it just me or does that sound like something that could cause some copyright problems for it? MAME gets enough heat over roms and chds coded for our PCs under windows, but our PCs are also used for a million things other than MAME so it's not like they can ban PCs lol.

Apart from that, cool device!

Good point, Nos, although I guess they work on the principle that - since the device is not supplied with any games - any copyright issues are the end user's responsibility.

True.

And there are some completely legal roms out there, hehe.
