Hi,
I',m trying to emulate Atari 2600.
When I launch the Mame with a game in the software list the game works fine.
When I launch the Mame with a game NOT in the software listi the game NOT working.
Is it normal??

Hi there, MAME is an emulator for coin operated arcade games, to emulate an Atari 2600 you would need an emulator for that system...

Anyway, to answer the question. Yes, it's normal for games showing in Available to work since these have passed audit. In general, others that don't show in Available are not working since they have failed audit. In my experience, though, this may not always be the case. In some rare instances, a game not showing Available may still have the required files to work, but will not pass audit because of a checksum error. Nevertheless, a game like this will run when selected from All Games.
