Re: Controller Speculation

Hello Burns, If I understand correctly you want to gut an xbox or computer arcade stick and put it inside a cabinet? If that's the case, you can definitely do it. I don't know if the x-arcade uses a keyboard encoder or what, but you can basically do the same thing with plain old computer joysticks. ...

Re: Can't Get MameWah to work!

I'm not not sure what it is. I'm using MAME32 Plus Plus 0.119 I did get the game list to show by changing rom_folder_vs_listml to rom_folder My understanding in this area is not so good  I tried an older version of Mame and it shows game list and snap shots, but won't play the games. Re: IPAC connected to 2 buttons buttons not working in game but

Yes, MAME..sorry forgot to include that. I'll give it a try. I'll also be posting up my cabinet build (stages pics), based on MK3 for the most part. In the process of doing my bezel and then just need to do my marquee artwork and it'll be good to go. Nice, I can't wait to see the stages pics and fi...

Re: IPAC connected to 2 buttons buttons not working in game but

Just press tab, while in game, go to Inputs (this game) by highlighting it and pressing enter (similar wording). Then see if you buttons match up with the Ipac setting. For example, if p1 punch is ...

Re: OK "where to drill" controll plans

Looking good, putting them in the middle looks good to me. Although you could have player 2's start button in the same position as player 1s, like right above and a little to the right of the last column of buttons.

Re: custom cab price check

I would say put in between $600-$700 range. I just looked in ebay and saw what prices they had for arcade cabinets similar to yours, didn't find anything exact. Most were selling for $500, some authentic ones in good shape went for triple that much. Then again, you could always try posting it at $80...
