Re: Q on cutting out holes on a CPO

An exacto knife and a paper clip got the work done. Thanks for your suggestions guys. Next question though.. does anybody here use the Xin Mo adapter for their buttons and joysticks? I am running a daisy chain short to wire up my last two joysticks and no site carries just the wires for their adapte...

Re: Q on cutting out holes on a CPO

Polycarbate Laminate is all that I know about it. I've tried with sewing needles, they don't make such a tear but the holes are even smaller.

Q on cutting out holes on a CPO

I managed to get the buttons cut out on my overlay without much of a fuss, but I am securing plexiglass over it to prevent my CPO from getting scratched up. I made 4 holes on top and bottom of the CP but am having difficulty getting the holes punched out on the overlay. What methods do you guys use?...

Work in progress

Here's my new cabinet. I wanted to make it short enough to fit in small places but have the usual cabinet stuff.

Long time no see..

Hey guys, Been about a year and a half since I checked in, a lot has gone on and is still going on. My old Star Trek cabinet I converted I had to leave in my parents garage when I moved, the place I went to was too small for it. It's still sitting in the garage and got trashed when my parents helped...

Re: Ameri Darts MAME No Sound

Maybe you need to download sound samples? Know some games, particularly the older ones, have these available online. Does MAME notify you that the game has sound issues before starting up? That might be the problem too.

Re: New Cabinet Idea

Not exactly, I either want to put the marquee on the side of the cabinet (smaller reproduction marquee of course) or possibly put it on the front of the cabinet just below the control panel and above the coin door. I went with particleboard, I don't have a ton of money to spend and I was told by sev...

New Cabinet Idea

Hey guys. I haven't been in here for a long while. You might remember my first cabinet I made out of that out 1982 Star Trek Upright about three years back. I had to move to a new apartment back in June and unfortunately its living in a shoebox apartment, so the big old Star Trek cabbie could not go...

Another MAME Cabinet custom made this time

Okay, if some of you may remember I bought two gutted arcade cabinets a few years back at $5 a piece from a local second hand store here in Utah. One was of a 1982 Sega Star Trek cabinet which I converted into a MAME cabinet and posted the finished work here last summer. The other one appeared to be...
