Reminders Please

Post by Sirhawkins » July 3rd, 2019, 9:20 am

Hello all,

A long time ago I got some discs online that had over 100k in games. It had different consoles you could choose from and such. I lost the discs and my HD just crapped out.

Can I re-do it using Mame?

Since MAME and MESS are combined now, it's possible but I don't recommend it. Navigating that many games in one list is laggy. Most folks you see with the "everything collection" are using a front-end to run multiple emulators.

Which front end do you suggest?

Launchbox seems to be popular with people these days. Panther is into the front-end stuff so maybe he'll stop by and tell us what he thinks.

Launchbox is a great front end and well worth a look, I use it to run MAME, Retroarch and various other emulators...
