I'm not too familiar with the sequel to the first game but it's easy to see you are optimizing stuff to get through the game quicker. You definitely earned that prize mate this game is no pushover! Seeing you post here makes me really happy because I instantly think wow we have another Max 1CC beast. Not only are you doing 1cc though you are speedrunning, mega respect mate.

I've got my Symphony of the Night Alucard any% down to 24:56, so I reached my goal of sub25 :)

I can easily improve that, it was a terrible run lol.

For legitimacy though, I submitted that run to www.cvspeedruns.com but I will probably beat it soon so watch this space. They still have my old run of 26:22 on their site at the moment but they update pretty regularly.

Dropped my SotN time down to 22:29 which is huge for me, here's a link but of course Twitch has some copyright issue so there's no sound for most it:

I appealed it, just gotta wait and see. I'm pretty sure it will get accepted on the leaderboard either way, but it would be nice if it had sound lol.

I'll edit this post accordingly!

Hey Nos, great gameplay!

I'm sorry about the sound, I would love to hear you comment some parts of the gameplay, for example, what did you do at the library?? and what did you do in the first castle when you started pausing the game? It would be cool if you could make a video explaining all that stuff that's going on! Because you can figure some things, but is better if the person playing explains all the exploits, etc.

Anyway, great work man. I'm hoping to see more of this.

Thanks Max :)

I pretty much always use my mic when doing runs but I'm bad at explaining some of the glitches. You can get some great explanations from this video though:

Skip to 7:15 for the start of the race.

Some of it is really complicated and hard to explain during a run. Heck, a lot of it I can't even explain even when not doing a run lol. Keep in mind these guys are playing on Xbox which is WAY faster. But yeah it's pretty much the same in terms of technique. Cheers mate :)
