My 'foldable' bartop/suitcase

Post by Voljega » August 25th, 2016, 9:24 am

Image

Here's an image of my foldable bartop made using two JLF Link for Sama joysticks (allowing to detach the stick and the ball from the base to limit the height)

I wanted to achieve some king of old furniture touch and to be make the whole thing not bigger than a suitcase.

I failed on the second part as I used some pc speakers to avoid any king of soldering and those are too big and didn't allowex to reduce height of the base part enough. It's a bit too heavy something like 30 kilos.
Rendering is also a bit less neat than what i envisioned.

Nevetherless I'm pretty happy

The system itself is based on a Raspberry Pi3 with the Recalbox OS/emulation system and can play anyrhing from Atari 2600 to PSX including of course arcade games. Dreamcast shoule be added soon.
