I looked at your config page on how to add games found here: https://sites.google.com/site/bigbluefr ... /games-xml

If I could make a feature request.
It would be cool if all we had to do was tell it what folder the rom files are in. Nail that down and you will have a real contender here. Visually, it awesome!
The inter-activeness is really great and I have never seen this before. Great concept! https://sites.google.com/site/bigbluefr ... game-rules

I'm not sure how much you've looked at the configuration utility, but it's actually really, really powerful.

You can basically do what you say by dragging all the ROMs in a folder into the configuration utility window. At around 5 minutes in, you can see the MAME specific features.

I reduced the volume of the building smash sound effect a little.

Also, it now has the crowd graphics from Street Fighter 2: Hyperfighting. In the configuration utility, there's an option to select which SF2 theme you want.

If you pick World Warrior, the versus screen has a black background and the veiny VS text, and if you pick Hyperfighting, you get the different crowd graphics.

Here's a screenshot with the Hyperfighting crowd:

WOW, thanks for the video on adding games. Far easier than I expected. Thanks for you response and video. I will be using Big Blue on my other PC sure.

Here is the point in time where he adds the roms using a drag and drop right into the configuration utility. Pretty impressive.

I decided to remove the pixel shader from the frontend. Instead of a real-time pixel shader, I just pre-generated the day, sunset, and night graphics and load those graphics at the right time of day.

So now, the program doesn't require a GPU that can run pixel shaders anymore, and there's been a pretty big performance increase across the board--especially at very high resolutions (3840x2160).

I just tweaked it some more. The orange was too strong on the sunset graphics, so I toned that down.

The R-Type ship's lasers and muzzle flash are no longer darkened by the time of day either.

If you want, I can edit your post and put the recent video in place of the one before?
