Incito's Arcade Cabinet Build - Completed!

Post by Incito » May 6th, 2013, 9:57 pm

It has been 6 years since I sold my old cabinet ( With much regret).
Now I will be getting a empty cabinet from my friends at arcade adventure.
Below is a pic of the cab. Mind you, that the monitor, trackball, and marquee is not included.

-I have an X-Arcade Tankstick.

-LCD Monitor, but I may consider using a regular TV for that nostalgic look?

-P4 CPU 3GH, 2GB SDRAM , 256MB video card (weak, but does what I need) and 500GB HDD.

-Batman PS3 controller (wireless, rechargeable) used for other emulators and Steam.

-WiFi b/g/n/ card.

-Mini Lenovo palm keyboard, wireless.

-10GB of mame games and just about every game for NES and Sega Genesis ever ... even the crappy one.
.... and the full version GameEx frontend which allows you to play kareoke files!

I will bump up the sound quite a bit and perhaps look into installing a second small lcd monitor above the main monitor?

I have a weeks vacation and I know how I will be spending it when May 28th comes! :hooray:

If you like the art I will supply the file for download. The file is a photoshop file with all the layers intact. I made the exploding start effect. I found a video on Youtube about it!

Re: Incito's Arcade Cabinet Build - Bezel and middle panel d

Post by Incito » May 18th, 2013, 9:27 pm

Today I made the middle panel using a MK Scorpion figure, plexiglass, and some colored film.
Below are the results.
Tomorrow is the main piece, the controller!

Middle piece after I added the computer speakers.
