Well someone had to break the trend. Lol, I've only been here a week and my rank has jumped from New(b) Member to Mame Addict. Benefits of being on Summer vacation I suppose. I'm still pretty newb though.

You must be in the Southern Hemisphere...Australia? It started snowing here about 2 weeks ago. :(

G'day :hello:

Feel free to start your own thread in the Arcade section if you need any help at all, and maybe post some snaps of your project when you get it happening.

I am a noob but catching up real fast. To learn from my mistakes, save your roms and back them up in case you drop off the face of the Earth. I left and now I have to catch up again which isn't fun. I'm trying to make up for my noobness through my experience in Arcade games (there are many games that need reviewing so that's the easiest way for me to give back to Mame Addicts).

Hi there.

Just thought I should say hello. I've had a relapse after staying away from Mame for a couple of years.!!

I've scored a generic Jama cab and now I'm just about to connect my old PC to the monitor to check that out. If I have a fairly quite night tonight at work I'm planning to try that tomorrow.

Once I've confirmed that my J-pac and Arcade monitor are working well with the rest of the system, I plan to use a modular control layout (Google Docs Modular Mame for my inspiration).

Speak to you all later!
