Re: hey guys.....why dont some games work??

You might also try doing an audit of games that aren't launching. Go to your MAME list of available games, choose a game that is giving you trouble, and go right click>Audit. Word on the Street...

A funny thing happened on the way to the supermarket today. A random dude sitting at a bus stop with some bags of groceries gave me a shout out to say, "Cool t-shirt man!" I happened to be wearing a shirt with the standard red Nintendo logo on it. He was saying how great all the old games ...

Re: Slow MAME on Mac

Hi ZwaN, nice to see you here. Good choice of avatar btw! I've been doing some research on this problem for you. I managed to find some info on MacMAME that might help. Even if you are running MAME OS X this same general info may apply. It's hard to say for sure since I'm on Windoze. Below is a link...

You've said a couple of times that it has no USB adapter, which makes me think you cannot connect it to your PC. On the other hand you've also said that the controller checks out in the X-Arcade u...

Re: Mame available help

OK, the main thing here is DO NOT UNZIP the rom file!!! Leave it zipped or it will not work. In your MAME folder is a sub folder called roms. Place the rom file into the rom folder. Now go into your MAME and click the refresh button or press F5 and the rom will be added to your list of available gam...

Re: X Arcade joystick

Hmmm...OK, how about this? I found a place that has the cfg file:

http://www.kutek.net/mame32_config_files.php

It's not downloadable though so it's a cut and paste job.

Re: X Arcade joystick

Thanks Maxrage, that could be it too. Below is a quote from the X-Arcade Tankstick Manual: 3) Set your “Default input layout” to X-Arcade™ from the drop-down list. If this option is missing, download the X-Arcade™ config file from the "Customer Service" page of http://www.X-Arcade....
