Re: Greetings you maniacs. How are the arcades?
G'day, Thulsa, great to heart from you, mate! :hello: Can't say I've ever had any files just up and disappear like that. Did you check if the Cyvern ROM file is still in the proper folder? Did you do an audit of Cyvern? As you say, it could be a sign that your system is wearing out. The only current...

Re: Save state on exit
Good idea. I'd be interested to know which was the culprit, the executable or a mistake in the folders somewhere. Either way, it was a bit irresponsible of whoever released it. If only they could see the chaos they caused!

Re: Save state on exit
No worries, mate! I'm very pleased that we could find a good solution to that dilemma. :hello: Skip info is different from warnings. The nag screens, as they're commonly called, are built-in and always on for affected games. I guess it's Mamedev's way of trying to cut down on unnecessary cries for h...

Re: Save state on exit
That's great news, ShadowFlame! :woot: I think it would be okay to put the new directory in your setup, so long as you take some precautions. You obviously wouldn't want to inadvertently wipe out your ROMs collection. Your front-end, Hyperspin I believe it was, is probably configured to look for the...

Re: Save state on exit
That's worth checking because something funky is surely going on. I did a bunch of tests today, ShadowFlame, and have two things you could try, each with minor good points and bad points. Since you're on a 64bit OS, you should use Arcade64 instead of 32. That's nothing to do with the problem, just a...
